Basically i want an app or a method to open an app through the dialler.

Any ideas?

I installed cerberus a little while ago and thought it was pretty decent that the way you open it was dialling a number in the keypad. I just wanted an app so that i could hide the system apps so that no one could tamper with them.

On a rooted s3.

Thanks a bunch.

widgetsoid... sticks a 'widget' in the android notification bar which you can add shortcuts to programs... should work with the s3 (will get 2 'switchers'), I've had it working on everything from gingerbread (phone) to 4.2.2 on my nexus 7.

Thats not a bad app, might have a little play with it.

But for example i have superuser just slapbang on my menu on my phone. JellyBean lets me hide the app, does doesn't really let me access it once its hidden.

I just wanted a way to "call" the hidden app through a shortcut on the phone dialler.
So that i know how to access them, but if anyone picked up my phone, they wouldn't know that its rooted or has any of these security apps.

Cheers for the help though.

Wigetsoid seems like a decent app. But i don't like widgets i want it all to be hidden, not showing on the home screen or notification bar. So that only i know how to access these things and that they cannot be stumbled upon.
