Android Bootloop Issue

I have a really weird problem with my phone today. I have a nexus 5x, and it just decided to restart and then went into some kind of bootloop.

I tried to go into recovery mode but it just kept doing the same thing. I switched it off, charged it, turned it on and let it do its bootloop for about 15 min. It eventually went back into the OS and I managed to use chrome for about 10 min before it did the same thing.

I let it do it again, got into the OS and tried to do an update. It rebooted, applied some updates but i think before it finished it did the reboot thing again. Now its coming up with 'no command'

I dont think its a hardware issue (ive checked for sticky buttons) because I'm on android recovery menu and its not restarting. I have the usual options of 'reboot system, reboot to bootloader, wipe data / factory reset etc. I have done the latter and rebooted but now I still get the screen 'no command' when booting up.

Any other ideas?
