Android Gmail app - sent items

In my sent items I'd like it to show the recipient rather than the word 'me'. I know who sent it as it's my account

Anyone know how to change the view?

People have been complaining about that for years and it still hasn't been changed. I suppose Googles view is that because you can search for a recipient it doesn't matter.

If you switch to another email app and set it up to collect gmails you should be able to get the view you want. If you have a Samsung phone the inbuilt email app is pretty decent although I've had problems with getting notifications promptly on some of my phones so stopped using it. I also can't remember what the Sent folder view was.

Annoyingly the Outlook app works the same way as Gmail for the Sent folder.
