Hi gang,
Whilst having a toilet stop today I was having a good ponder about one of the most annoying things when competing in an "Arrive and Drive" or "Endurance Race" at most Kart tracks... the lack of live timing on the Karts.
One possible solution would be to own a lovely GPS equiped Wrist Watch such as a Garmin Forerunner or similar, but looking at the cost of those, thats a no go.
Then I thought that just having my mobile on me would be a good option with a GPS lap timer app installed, however not being able to securely fasten it to the kart means that its not going to work. However! What if the said app had the ability to read out lap times and potential a delta to you as well? Then by getting a good in ear earphone and connecting it to the phone which is in your pocket inside your suit, then you wouldn't need to look at it.
So, does anyone know of any app available in the market that can do this?
