Hi all,

One of the things pushing me away from buying the Hero as my next phone is good GPS software integration.

However, I have just found out that "Copilot Live" is avaliable for Android.

Has anyone tried it on their Hero (or even G1?). Is it any good?

Cheers.

I have it installed on both my windows phone and my android phone. Both 99.9% the same but it runs better on my Hero. Excellent programs and first thing i installed.
One problem i had though was with the activation. Not the best way of doing it but even i managed to sort it :)

I've got it installed on my hero, definitely one of the best sat nav programs I've used. I got fed up carrying the tom tom about, so invested the £25.99 in the new co-pilot live. I've used it a couple of times and hasn't let me down, it's quick to load and I've found it's quicker finding a GPS signal than my tom tom did. Excellent for the price.

I have to say I've not been impressed with copilot, it drops GPS fix all the time (every half an hour or so) which is very annoying, especially when your relying on it. It just feels cheap, things like the lane assist pictures not looking right and the keyboard being difficult to use.

Navigon and TomTom for WM are much much better and both are supposed to be working on android versions, so I'm waiting for those, especially if TomTom puts IQ Routes in.

I have no issues with it dropping GPS on either of my phones, maybe its your hardware? Must admit yes the keyboard is a little bit crap any why its not in qwerty or atleast have the choice? I makes you have to stop driving to type in the postcode :(

Dont feel cheap at all to me, its a nice rounded piece of software IMO
Live features are good, looking forward to live traffic.

Do you mean the new version of copilot? it's meant to be massively improved from previous versions
