Android internals how much grunt?

Netflix and tvcatchup will be fine, SD flash content like iPlayer should play OK too.

I'd wait for a review first, £60 is overkill for online video streaming.

Well just ordered one £43.04 off eBay, so will see what it's like, the reviews seem positive.

finally arrived and its fantastic.
I didn't think Google store worked on such devices but it does so netflix was an easy install also get 21mbs over wifi. So I assume it doesn't support N but still way fast enough. It comes with everything you need. Just need to get a Ipazzport keyboard and a memory card, to stick all my music on it.

Absolutely brilliant devices for a htpc. and if you need more power the market is starting to get loads of similar devices.

need to get one for dowstairs as well.

The only issue I have is it doesn't seem to play stuff in widescreen. Not sure if it's Netflix app, or some setting. Not a massive issue though. YouTube and the like play full screen.

Edit - Doha' it does play widescreen when widescreen is available.just seems everything I was watching until now didn't have widescreen available.

youtue through the website, as the youtube app is horrible, not sure if there's a better youtube app out there.

Video quality

Fine, it's Netflix so whatever the videos is.

Although screen res seems to be locked at 1280x672

Although many places say you can get 1080p, but no idea how.

It's not the fastest processor, takes a few seconds to load the Netflix thumbnails.
But for £40 and the specs can't complain and it's very usable.
If you want faster, there are better internals in other devices.
