Any point you could have is moot anyway as the phone can be temporary de-rooted in under 10secs with a simple app.

It doesn't work with everything though apparently. Someone will have to try it.

Just credit cards. That's it. It means people like myself who can't get a credit card can't pay for apps. Which IMO means devs are losing money. There's plenty of apps that I use which are free with a paid for version that i'd happily pay for,but I can't

A VISA debit would work fine.

Visa debit does work. I have a maestro which it doesn't accept.

Can't you get pre-paid credit cards nowadays? (not something I've ever needed, got a credit card and a visa debit which seem to 'just work' everywhere )
