Hey, I am a uni student and use my phone a lot for work, as well as having facebook, apps, skype and such all updating and with google etc, so I find it essential that I can connect to wifi and use the networks as i'm always in range.

There are three networks that I connect to; all with different settings. In windows, I know that on the IP settings you have the option for "Alternate settings", I'm not sure we have it on android, but maybe there is a good app I haven't found? I'm on android 2.2, the wifi networks are:

- Home at uni, Mac filtering, WPA2
- Uni on campus- Needs username / password, and to use proxy.
- Girlfriends - Requires DNS settings, WPA2, mac filtering, Gateway settings, also hidden SSID.
- Home with parents - Just WPA2.

Is it possible to auto connect to these whilst in range? Does anyone know?

Thanks!
Steve

Thanks for the reply.

That's disappointing! I can get around the uni proxy by connecting to the unsecure network I guess, but that gives me the issue that I have to open a browser and log in each time I want to access it, i'm not sure if it will work without me doing that every time.
