Android networking

Hi

In this hous all movies and music are all on a network drive which all the pc's have access to but any ideas how to get my android devices to see the same network drive networking is not a stron point of mine by a long point at all

Wouldn't there be an app for that kind of stuff in the Google Play app store?

I've got the Galaxy S3 and usually use apps for networking purposes. It all depends on the version of Android you have though.

If you have the latest 4.x.x versions, you should be good to go and look for something to share and view your network drives attached onto your home network.

BS Player works fine seeing my network folders. 1080p stuff struggles tho but that might be my router.

Diceplayer works fine for me, can easily play high bitrate 720p mkv's over my 802.11n network to my nexus 7 (2012), can't comment on 1080p though as I don't have any.
