Hey guys,
I'm making the move from IOS to Android. I'm picking up a Nexus 5 this evening second hand. I know with iPhones there are some bits you need to look out for security wise to make sure it doesn't get blocked/locked. Is there anything on Android I need to check out in the settings? I have never used the Android OS before so it's all new to me! Any advice would be great.

You can get any phones IMEI by typing #06# in the phone app for speed. You should check with a SIM that it signal, wifi and can make a call (and that both ways are clear) as welll as CheckMEND. This should hopefully test the air interfaces and microphones.
