Android Pie (9.0) Thread

Guess the time on home page moved to top left is to accomodate notch support coming with Pixel 3s. 3s are due to be announced 4 October, same as last couple of years.

Project treble is barely on 10% of all android phones. It's a step in the right direction that will take time to improve. This time next year should yield some meaningful results due to the obvious reason that phones shipped with oreo need to support treble.

No, Oreo was last August if you had a Pixel device. Just goes to show how slow Samsung and others can be, though to be fair Samsung had a lot of the stuff that's in 9 already such as the screenshot editing etc.

To be fair though, the M8 was HTC's last good phone :D. Loved my M7 as well. HTC supported those phone's software pretty well, shame there doesn't seem to be much effort these days.

Thankfully I never had to deal with their customer support, or I may have had a different opinion. I think Huwai are the modern day HTC now anyway, they seem to be showing the same kind of innovation that HTC did in their day.
 
Mine is working alright with my headphones and it even now remembers the volume.

With my speaker, who knows, it was always dodgy with that... Will try it later or when I get the chance.

I hope it's not goosed though as I've just bought some b&w p7 wireless headphones.
