Android push email K 9 server with virgin net

Hi

Really like the look and feel of k9 mail, problem is that it won't push. There is a lot of help with virgin media email accounts, but none I can find for virgin.net. I have imap enabled in the webmail options, chosen imap4.virgin.net as the server address but it won't push.any suggestions?

As far as i'm aware push email is simply not a feature that Virgin supports. Which is a bummer because i use Blueyonder which is basically the same.

Thanks for the reply, they have this feature in the options menu for you to select. Know some users with virgin media emails who are happily using push with k9.
