Teamviewer has somehow decided that I'm a commercial environment with my home PC and other home PC that acts as a Plex machine.

This has forced me back to the much better RDP. However trying to use it with my android phone has required an update to the Windows app and now I need to login to the Plex machine and I cannot for the life in me figure out what my username/domain/password would be.

I tried changing the password on my windows account and it's not that.. how do I start from scratch or work out what it would be?

My laptop seems to have all the credentials saved so I can use that without issue however the typical scenario is I sit down to watch something and the plex box has decided to do an update sine I last used it so I need to log in to effectively "start" it to start plex.

Very frustrating but easily fixed by remoting to it and putting the pin in to start it up.

Yes I can do it fine with my other windows machines but since the move of the RDP app into the windows app on android I can't do it via my phone.

Understood.
Try and go into the settings on a PC that works and look at the Credential Manager. It will list all passwords saved on that Windows PC.
Sorry it does not show the password but it does show user name.

I use google remote desktop to access my Plex server.

Very handy as its done via a browser once setup on the plex server.

OMFG thank you so much, I didn't even know that existed. 5 minutes and all set up.

If we could tip here I would :)
No problem at all.

It's very handy, as you said its quick and easy to setup.

Once done you just go to the google rdp site, click the server and your in!

No need to worry about username and passwords etc
