Android Tablet - Can They Do This?

Was tempted to ask this in the Transformer threads, but think it better suits here.

So, I'm looking to either get a Tablet/Laptop soon. Basically I want to replace my PC with it.

Two things I would like to do:
- Web development. E.g. run a web server, with a database (probably MySql), etc
- Develop Android Software.

I was intending on getting a mid-range laptop, which I know can cope with my needs. But the Transfomer 2 looks so tempting.

Will it (or any Android tablet) be able to handle my needs? Searching up "tablet vs laptop" doesn't give straight answers sometimes...

You'd be far better off getting a laptop with those tasks in mind.

You'll want a decent laptop for that, preferably one with a SandyBridge cpu.

Well you can get the i-Jetty web server for Android phones so I assume it works on a tablet.

Laptop would be far more suitable though.

I have a transformer and the thought of doing web development on it would do my head in, get a laptop!

Could - probably, with a lot of work.
Should - no. MySQL alone wouldn't be so great on the platform and compiling is going to be a huge huge bitch on it.

You'd need a laptop/pc for Android Development you can't actually do the development on a tablet.
