Android updates

I have updated my desire to 2.2 and is also debranded and unlocked. 2.2 is the latest major update but are there likely to be any minor updates released before the next major one (3.0 i believe)?

There have been no minor updates rumoured (that have made it to wide circulation anyway).

I believe Google have stated their next goal as massive restructuring that will be 3.0

The official ones are yes, not sure on the other ones.

And I still haven't got my 2.2 update.

Just about to get a nexus one for the simple reason that it will always be the first phone to get any new android flavours.

Not sure if google are making another google phone. This one achieved what it was set out to do.

Rumour is the N2 will be out for Gingerbread (Android 3.0)

I thought the n1 was just to put Android in the mainstream media (worked for me)
I'll be surprised if they continue to release phones.

As I said, the "rumour" is there will be a N2. This is probably not the case but thats why I said "rumour" and not fact.

google just arent selling it directly through the webstore
