Android - weather widget gone wrong

the weather widget on the missus' phone shows the wrong location

It just shows London on the front screen, if we go to the weather screen and scroll through then the currect location is shown as "curremt location" but the front screen still shows London

any ideas?

Select the widget and try getting it to refresh a few times.

Try deleting the widget from the screen then putting it back again.

Some people have found this to work:

Here's how I cured mine. Go to Settings --> Accounts & Sync --> Under sub title "Manage Accounts" make sure the "Weather" widget has a green sync. Click on Weather and make sure Sync Weather is clicked and account settings are set to frequency of update you want. I update mine once an hour. Then make sure in the settings of the weather widget itself that "Update Automatically" is clicked.
