I watched a UFO program on anytime last night and one of the researchers has an animated sea/ocean scene on his screen THAT MOVED.

Can ya tell I'm a little out of touch.

It was just a nice rolling ocean scene. NOt cartooney

So how do I get it.
What is it
And will it annoy the cr*p outta me in 20 mins if I get it.

Cheers

Hmm. Maybe its windows dreamscene, which was a feature of vista enabling you to have videos playing on your desktop as a background. Think its possible to go on windows 7, google is your friend.

I did a bit of a Google but as I couldnt really decribe what I wanted in a Google'ish way I gave up. Being Friday an all.

I'll have a go at dreamscene.

Yes it's dreamscene, but I personally think it's terrible. Having an animated desktop background would just irritate the **** out of me.
I don't even like having the wallpaper changing every # minutes in Windows 7. That's just me though.

Depending on how old it was you used to be able to add animated gifs as a desktop background on windows xp. They'd have to be large files and decent quality, but it worked out okish if you didnt look too close.

Just have windows 7 slideshow background, and up the transiton time to 10 seconds. So its not like a video, but its more dynamic than a static BG?
