Anniversary Help

How much do you want to spend?

Can you cook?

Making a nice meal in is a lot more thoughtful than going out. Even if you're not a great cook, just get a simple but nice recipe from the internet and follow it precisely. Light some candles, tidy up, set the table, run her a bubble bath for when she comes home (candles round the bath & a nice drink should be placed around the bath), that sort of thing. It can be done on a budget, but it's really nice. She'll thank you for it a whole lot more than just picking up the bill from a restaurant.

It's my 8 year anniversary today, the mrs wants to go to a sushi restaurant (I can see me stopping for a kebab after eating nothing but prawn toast all night)

This guy ^^^ is so correct :)

Its (usually) about how much thought you put into something - the little things you have included that you have picked up on from her (without prompting) that she likes... e.g. a particular bath bomb/bubble bath from Lush... make a cd of 'your songs' to listen to through the evening.

Even a scrapbook of memories and pics of your past 4 years.

Good luck with it!

Find a Japanese restaurant that does Sushi and normal Japanese food.

Eat the Chicken Katsu curry / chicken terriyaki - trust me you will like. ;)

If she is your GF how can you have an anniversary? Just setting yourself up for a fall when you get bored of acting like a loved up girl, which you will;)

I'm snowboarding with the lads during my anniversary this year (real one) and my wife pointed this out but given the level of expectation I have carefully managed, she was not overly surprised or annoyed.

edit: just noticed the resurrection

If she is your GF how can you have an anniversary?

Anniversary - when you first met
Anniversary - when you had you're first date
Anniversary - first kiss
Anniversary - when she first let you do her in the ****

tbh I'll use the word anniversary for anything, as long as it ends with a happy ending lol

My girlfriend and I will have been together for a year next month and we are planning to try and get premier league tickets. It was actually her idea as well! My girlfriend is awesome :D

Haha there are some amusing comments. Yeah been together since we was both 14. She's dosn't enjoy playing games much, she prefers to watch.

But I'll probally do the Spa thing :D

How did it go, as this thread has been revived conclusion would be welcomed?

OPs should get automatic bans when they don't update on their threads like this when asking for advice etc etc.
