Honestly it didn't take me very long, as you can probably see from my three improvements in twenty minutes or so. I seem to be throwing away about five or ten levels then spending a couple of minutes working out how to herd the cat into the trap
The very next map i tried gave me this gem. my work here is done:

as soon as you realise it heads for the closest edge when no matter how easy it is for it to be trapped going down that path you can get twos very easily with a half decent starting map
