Basically, whenever i open My Computer (which is instant, no delay there) and try to open ANY of these drives:
There's a good 2-3 second delay after i've double clicked the drive or pressed enter on it untill it opens. It seems like explorer freezes for 2-3 seconds and then it opens.
I've got 2 SATA HDD's setup, with the first having only a single partition and being my windows drive (C
, i then have a secondary HDD split into the three partitions (E:, F: and G. The delay is present when i try to access all four of the partitions, so it's not secluded to a particular HDD.
The delay is also present if i create a shortcut to a drive and try to access it from there, i really can't understand why it's doing this
