Hi all,
wonder if anyone can help me out with the following, extremely annoying problem I am having with Excel (2003).
I have created a spreadsheet and at the top of my first worksheet I have a graphic (our corporate 'background') with a label (from 'Form Controls') on top of it which displays the title of the report (I have it set like this as my company insits on specific branding for all of our reports). The label is linked to a cell on a seperate sheet.
My problem is with the text format of the label. When I link this to the appropriate cell, it correctly picks up the same formatting as the target cell (Georgia, 16pt for reference). However, when I save, close and then re-open the file, the format of my label reverts to the excel default (arial 8pt I think).
I therefore find that I have to select the label, click into the formula bar, press return for it to change the format to what I expect (Georgia 16pt) before I can print the report which is obviously a bit annoying and means I can't actually send out the report electronically as it will be formatted wrong when other users open the file.
Does anyone know of a solution to this? I have tried using VBA with the workbook_open event to change the format of the label but to no avail!
If anyone can help me out, I'll be most grateful as this problem is getting right on my breasts!!!
Cheers,
G
