Had four (very expensive - private) white fillings done, replacing amalgams and have toothache in two of them on the same side. It is only painful if I eat or drink. So it's quite annoying. Debating going to the dentist, but convinced he'll charge me again for something.
My little toe, second from right on my right foot, is broken. I have an awkward limp at the moment, as nothing can be felt until I put a modicum of weight on that foot, then it begins to hurt like hell. Walking while trying to keep my weight primarily on my left foot is making me look like a spag.
Yep was motorbike accident!
Here was the initial break, the rod runs whole length of the femur and a pin at the hip and above the knee.

Well I foolishly had temporary amalgams replaced with white fillings. They didn't need doing, and I can't help but feel I've messed up my teeth now.I've got the same problem at the moment. I changed dentist in July and he put a filling in a tooth that wasn't in a bad state or causing problems, in fact he only did it because I said I'd rather get it done early. I had a nerve randomly die in April (my old dentist could only guess it was some trauma) and I didn't want to go through that pain again.
The tooth has been horribly sensitive since the filling went in and I have to take painkillers with most meals/cold drinks. I've been back a couple of times but I keep getting told to give it time and the only solution would be to re-do the filling. I just put up with the pain now because I can't really afford to pay for another filling and with a 50% complication rate across 4 dentists, I'm not sure I trust any of them!
Apparently so, but I have two nice scars to prove im not hiding anything![]()
