Annoying network issue

Hi Guys

I will try my best to explain the problem. I have 3 pc's on the same network but sometimes if I turn them all on one of the pc's will not see the others, it can still connect to the internet just not the other pc's either via rdp or shares, this resolves its self sometimes after 2mins sometimes after 30mins. Both the other pc's can see each other fine from what i can tell. Any ideas, its a hard one to google without just bring up connection problems.

How is your network set up? What router are you using? What OS are the PCs running?

Sagem SKY Router, all are ethernet connections and running either W7 Home or Pro

Also the main one I am trying to connect to is on a static IP

sounds like a DNS issue, I'd recommend instead of setting the static IP, using DHCP with a reservation. Some routers have issues updating the DNS records which windows still relies on, but auto register DHCP leases.

I'm jumping in on this as I get the same issue.
Sometimes my laptop wont see my home server. However I have a shortcut on my desktop that will connect straight away.

Sometimes that will then kick it back into touch but not always

I will need to check this but I think I have it reserved then the DHCP list starts after that address
