Annoying number keeps calling - iPhone

Howdy,

Wondering if anyone can help me! Keep getting calls from the same number, answering it they just hang up (as if it's automated). Calls several times a day.

I've tried blocking the number but I'm still for some reason being told about missed calls from the 1571 text. How can I stop this from happening? I don't care about missed calls from blocked numbers! Stupid system!

Any help would be appreciated as this is driving me insane.

Tell BT to turn 1571 texts off? BT has no idea which numbers you're blocking or not, they just send that text when you don't answer. Your phone is still receiving the calls, just it's choosing not to ring or notify you that they rang.
 
It's not BT. Your mobile network might have a feature where if the caller hangs up while your phone is ringing (except it's not because you have the number blocked), they send you a text message - Orange used to do this back in the day. Disabling that message will apply to all calls, so you might not want to do it.
