Ths has been an ongoing issue for some time and im pretty sure video drivers are to blame. Every few hours my pc goes non responsive for a couple of minutes at a time, just seems to occur at random but the whole system seems to be affected. Usually if im watching youtube at the time the video will start to freeze up, any webpages that may be open go unresponsive, then it generally continues like this with small periods of "hitching activity" untill it then finally comes around and acts normal again.
Its really starting to get on my nerves as ive tried numerous drivers with no real change, i'll be working in premier or something then suddenly the sytem goes into herp derp mode for a few minutes, its almost like its grinding to a halt for some reason like some massive activity is occuring that overrides anything else. I can't 100% be sure its video drivers but im leaning in that direction as the latest drivers seem to make it pass slightly quicker.
Theres no fragmentation on the drives, plenty of space available, just don't understand whats causing this to occur numerous times a day.
