Annoying Personal Plates

Some personal number plates annoy me, especially when they are on pointless or dissapointing cars.

Today, im driving out of Devizes, the home of Wadworths brewery (for those who dont know, they make 6X), and a car pulls out infront of me and I follow it down the road. It has an exceptionally good numberplate given the town, TRY 6X. Now I know that a lot of the Waddy delivery trucks have 6X number plates of some sort, but this is a reall good one, so you would expect it to be on something flash and decent, or atleast on something they could use for promotions...

No. It was on a 2004 320d SE that was grubby as hell in some dark green colour

. Such a waste!

Can this guy not use his plate if.when he gets a new car? Dont see your point.

Only good cars can have private plates?

All the JCB vehicles seem to have personal registrations.

JCB 26 for example I think they are, or 26 JCB, whichever way it works. And most of the time they are on white vectras, must be the pool car of choice.

Its a play that clearly (without needing bolts or other dodgy things) says "Try 6X", owned by someone who lives in Devizes, the home of 6X, but is being used on a boring BMW!

Surely theres a better use for it? All the trucks have 6X plates.

No... just me.... ah well.

Nothing against personal plates, just annoys me when personal plates that clearly could be usefull or have a purpose, arent.

I'd say it's a fairly safe bet that he is a rep for 6x, so the plate is pretty fitting if you ask me =\

There's a white Merc plumbers van that runs around my local area with a private plate. It's reg is J10BBY.

Quite fitting for a plumbers van.

private plates are irrelevant to me when it comes to cars

i tend to look at the car and not see the plate.

I know someone with "S555 ???" on a Punto, it used to be on a Yaris.
