Hoping someone might be able to help over the internets.
I was playing Bad Company 2 for about two hours on Sunday when all of a sudden I start lagging / rubber banding its playable but this has never happened before, I built my PC in summer last year and its been perfect, so has my internet connection which is Virgin Media 50mb with no wireless involved.
I thought it was the server so I left it at that, then last night I started playing and all of a sudden after half an hour the same thing happened, tried another server same again. Tonight I played a few more online games, NFS HT and MOH and the same thing happens, exactly the same in MOH but its alittle harder to tell in NFS as other people have rubber banded in the past but it seemed to happen a lot more.
My CPU temp is below 50C when gaming and i've only tried one single player which was Just Cause 2 but as i've not played it for a while i'm not yet sure however it seem ok.
I've rebooted the router and modem but still no joy, anyone know why games would all of a sudden start lagging / rubber banding? I've changed absolutely nothing its a totally random occurance and i'm gutted because my PC is a Gaming PC and I game most nights
