Annoying Windows Problem

Everytime i open a folder it opens and starts to explore it, the folders button in the folder is highlighted and when i click off of it it goes back to normal, this happens on all folders even after you un highlight it, can any one help me please

set it how you want it, then go tools, folder options, view, apply to all folders, ok


press ALT +V, B to get the status bar in explorer first tho
