Anyone else in central scotland area had or know someone recently who has had a really bad 24 hour bug?

Went to make dinner about 7.30 last night and felt like i needed to be sick, put my fish n chips from the oven into the bin without even trying to eat anything.

Me and missus decided to go for a quick bath and after 5 mins i had to come out as i was sweating and burning up.

Decided to go to bed and missus followed and from 8.00 onward till 8 this morning ive been sick/throwing up nothing every hour/2 hours.

Had one of the worst "sleeps" iv ever had and kept her up all night, around 2 in the morning tho she started to feel really unwell and since then she has had sickness and extreme diarrohea.

Phoned my boss at 6 this morning to tell him i wouldnt be in, she did the same at 9. Told my boss id phone him when i woke up and i eventually woke up at 5.05.

Stil feel really unwell and the girlfriend is still in bed sleeping atm.

Wouldnt wish this on anyone!

My 4 year old was throwing up overnight. Kept him home from creche. When phoned in we were sixth call they had received and were expecting more.

By 14:00 this afternoon he was charging around the house like a mad man. So seemed to be a 15 hour bug in his case.

I'm rough at the mo, was fine at lunch time but got arse rot, blocked nose, sore throat, coughing and sneezing :(

Lovely.... Hope u get well soon.

But on ther other hand, I've had a headache now for 8days on and off, finally went to the docs to see what it could be and I got it's nothing to worry about as it stress due to my work load at the mo and family life so she wrote me off work.
