I agree they're bribing you with the no writeoff tbh.
Suppose if you've agreed theres not a lot you could do tbh, I'd have pushed for the £700 and car back without writeoff.

Midn you saying that after receiving my last cheque from insurance I wasn't able to replace the car for a like for like basis mileage/history/condition and stuff phoned em up adnd told them that and they sent out another cheque :) (Admiral)

Yes.

You see it more often with classics, where the car is worth "more than the sum of it's parts".

just bought (another) 944 thats a cat c due to a dent on the slam panel - no other damage and the car was immaculate apart from some rust on the one sill which was why i assume he allowed it to be written off.

I bought it as a donor but it's toogood to break and it's off for VIC this afternoon.
