Greetings.
I'm planning on buying a Ryzen 2600 CPU to last me for a few months, then upgrading to a 3950X when they are released.
I've got some G. Skill DDR4 3600mhz CL memory already and don't know what motherboard to buy.
I won't benefit much from PCIE 4 so I was thinking X370 / X470.
Looked at that "AM4 Vcore VRM Ratings" document that's been floating around the web recently, and basically narrowed down my search to a few different models:
Asus Crosshair VI Hero x370
Asus Crosshair VII Hero x470
Asus ROG Strix x470-F
Asrock Fatal1ty x370
Asrock x370 Taichi
Asrock x470 Taichi Ultimate
Gigabyte Aorus x470 Gaming 7 AC
Can anybody give some thoughts or advice on those boards?
I can get the Crosshair VI pretty cheap but was wondering how well the CPU/memory will work on x370 and whether it's worth paying £50-100 more for an x470 board over x370?
Also I saw a comment on Reddit by AMD_Robert saying that all AM4 motherboards can utilise the new PBO for Ryzen 3000 chips as long as it is included in the BIOS. I can't find much info on whether any of those above boards have PBO enabled in the new BIOS for 3000 CPUs, particularly the x370 boards.
Thanks in advance
