Another asus p67 owner with issues

Just a bit of advice any1 having cold boot issues with asus deluxe boards.
take power lead out of pc leave for about 5 mins then on the back of the
computers on the back of the plate there is a small hole for CMOS restet.
use a pin to reset the CMOS. taking battarie out dont work. i Reset CMOS with pin method and all cold boot issues have gone away.
starts first time all the time. no looping on and off ;) shame there is nothing in the manual showing this on the p8p67 deluxe mobo.
just a note u will have to input all bios options again after this.

Until BSOD on cold boot just now  but just restarted and started windows normally and has loaded fine

after this I had 1 more BSOD. Have now reset the CMOS (jumper on mobo for the PRO model), and no issues since (fingers crossed!).
I should also add that I am lazy, hence still on the original BIOS (0402).

Hopefully the clear CMOS thing will be the end to everyones problems!

I updated my bios from my main C: NTFS partition just fine.

I had to switch to a new power supply. My Thermaltake 700W just did not supply enough power for stable function, it works fine with a 9650@4Ghz though...

Also reinstalling Windows fixed some funny issues.
