Another C&C in the works?

It may have it's name, but with the original production team so different than westwood studio days, it'll never be C&C again. I'll always hope I'm wrong though!
 
I remember reading about it a while ago and also EA also asking fans for ideas for C&C5. I'm not expecting much though if/when they release it. Base building will probably come back after the poor ratings of Tiberium Twilight and hopefully they'll go back to what made Command and Conquer great in the first place. But even then, Starcraft 2 and whatever expansions it has out by then will just **** on it from a great height.
 
I'll never forgive EA for what they've done to this franchise. The people responsible for C&C 3 and 4, and RA3 should be put out of their misery.

With any luck this won't go anywhere and they'll leave the franchise alone in future.
 
They killed RA3 and not sure what they were smoking when they made C&C 4, just keep it simply ea stop screwing around! Look at SC2 what a way to come back into the series.
 
Tiberian wars, red alert 2/ Yuris revenge were the good times. It's gone all downhill from there. I can't be bothered with the series no more.
 
The next C+C will feature the ground breaking no buildings of the previous one, plus EA's revolutionary new idea - NO UNITS!

Each level will be an empty map, in which you simply press one button and something awesome oughta happen!, like winning the whole level with one press of button A.

Due to video games being too long and complex for the average person, there will be a total of 6 levels on release, offering a staggering 6 seconds of gameplay (press button A to win x6).

Extra levels will later become available at the unbeatable prce of 99p each.

*Preorder now to receive the first DLC for free on release day! This DLC will contain two extra levels, plus the ability to also press button B instead of only button A to win each level.

Awesome. It will hasta happen with a single button press.
 
C&C was the original for so many spawned type games like LOTR battle for middle earth in my eyes, never played Starcraft due to C&C being good and then killing my hopes and dreams with that other rubbish they brought out.

Have EA ever improved a series?????
 
I've bought pretty much every C&C game (& add-on) since the original but didn't have any interest in the previous one. Shame really :(

Same here, apart from I didn't get RA3 either.

Red Alert 1 and 2 plus expansions were fantastic. I spent hours upon hours playing Red Alert skirmishes on my self made maps. Fantastic :D

Probably because they thought, "hmm, for some reason RA3 didn't sell that well on PC, so let's dumb it down even more so it's even easier to play on consoles, that must be the only solution"
