Glad it's not just my phone not playing the vid! - I was beginning to wonder given so many people can obviously see it....
Wow, assuming the speed is as high as that looks then I'm a bit scared TBH. She properly lost that. Was anyone injured at all?
Also surprised at just how fast that went in, even sideways. I'd expect it to have scrubbed speed at least a bit. Was it icy out there, or pretty normal?

Piccys as promised, nowhere near as bad as you'd expect but if she'd caught it square on I bet it would have been a different story -
Unfortunately the other car was gone by the time I got outside, i noticed from her skidmarks in the grass she missed the tree on the very left by maybe 2 feet.

I spoke to her dad when they knocked on the door, GF actually went out to look.
Doubt it she was on her way to work, it's hard to tell on the videos but she was definately going well over the 40MPh limit. GF's dad came to look at his car earlier & reckons the girl is lucky she didn't roll the car when she hit the kerb.
It's a pain in the arse as the GF's car is off the road having the electrics looked at (again!) so now she has no car as her dad had lent her one of his.
Its definitely a write off, rear quarter damage on a car of that age..
Naah , bit of t-cut and some gaffer tape would sort that.....
It's safe to say SB118 was not completely serious....
