Hi all.

I'm interested in taking the plunge and building my first water-cooled PC. I'm a bit nervous about the build so it needs to be simple to put together as well; I've never done any case-modding before. I'd be aiming to watercool the CPU and an 8800GTS.

Essentially I want to put this: Swiftech H20 200 Apex Ultra
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-021-SW

into a case that will not need much if any modding. I'd expect to hang the radiator on the back of the case using the RadBox.

I've narrowed it down to two choices:
Lian Li PC-A16B, http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-085-LL&tool=3

or Akasa Mirage 62, http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-017-AK&groupid=701&catid=7&subcat=507

Firstly, can I use the water-cooling holes in the Lian Li to route the tubes through the case? Is there enough room in it to fit the kind of setup I'm talking about?

If I go for a case without holes, like the Akasa, how difficult is it to make holes for the tubes. Bear with me, I've never done any drilling into a case before! What would I need and how would I do it? :o

Any other suggestions would be very welcome - thanks a lot in advance for any help.

the new Antec case, 182 or 190 i dont remember which has holes already in it for water cooling pipes. The guy from Antec showd me at a lan, maybe worth a look, nice cases all round

Get the Akasa, plenty of room inside to not need to have tubing going outside :D
Mounting that kit would be easy enough and there is multiple choices of ways to come into the case with the tubing (presuming you'd be mounting the rad on the back of the case)
I personally cut holes in the top of the motherboard trasy backplate so the tubing can go direct to into the case.

Why are all the akasa's so butt ugly?

The p182 and the p190 are basically the same case, but i do know for certain that the p182 and 900 have holes, not sure about to 190.

Thanks very much for the comments.

The Antecs look as if they don't have removable motherboard trays which might be a minus in my view.

Any other suggestions very welcome too!
