Change the graphics card to the connect 3D x1900XT its on this week only so its cheaper. Dont why your are getting those cables as they will come supplied with the mobo. Apart from that everything looks fine.

Thanks for the quick reply! I really wanted the HIS card as it's meant to be significantly quieter than the others. Shame I didn't get the order in while it was on special offer the other day :(

I went for the rounded IDE cable for neatness, and just chucked in the matching SATA cable for if I ever get a side window for the case. Actually if it's anything like my current system it will never have the side on anyway!

I would have personally got the connect3d then bought a vf900 but I guess that does void your warranty.

Been looking at other posts and wondering if I should have specced a beefier PSU. Will 430W be enough for the stuff I have listed?

Ah great, thanks for the link :)

According to the calculator my system only adds up to 357W, so I'm not sure why I keep reading you need a 500W PSU to run a 1900XT

Its all about the 12v rail. You will probably need a certain amount of amps on the 12v rail for your 1900xt, and usually bigger PSUs have more amps on the 12v. I strongly recommend you check this before buying a new GPU or PSU.

And don't forget the 'PSU calculator' is only a guide
