got to disagree there snaggster, nVidia have truly ****** up on this generation

You have to renember that Fermi was all about gpgpu. Gaming was an after thought, thats why i recomended it for photoshop. the gtx460 should also be able to handle the current games with ease aswell.
If he was just purely gaming i would reconmend a 5*** series without question.

I reckon he should concentrate on the gaming first, get a 5850, or 5830/5770.

Im sure a nice fast cpu will be good for photoshop, he didnt say anything about video editing/creation, where the cuda cores will make even a fast cpu look like a ZX81

Looking for some recommendations for cutting down the PSU cost here. I won't be doing Xfire - the most will be adding more disks really.

Any other PSUs at 650W that would be cheaper than Corsair but equally as good?
