Another crash *with pics!*

I'm sorry but i define a blind bend as a bend where you cant see the end of it, and unless its a very wide open bend, its nearly always impossible to see the end. Imagine if everyone slowed down for every bend that they couldnt see all the way round - it'd be a nightmare!!! but yea, if its a really tight bend then fair enough ;)

wow, so at least 3 personal injury cases then lol

glad no one was hurt. looks like you were going a fair lick there mate, look at the 'dent' in that van haha

with a fully tooled up van, in that state, a fair claimant will be asking for 4 days.

day without van to get hire van. day to strip tools out of his. day to put them in new one and visa versa when he gets his repaired one back

if you smashed him up miles from home, people often end up in hotels which they claim on the third party insurance

At the end of the day whats happened has happened, everyone involved is ok and all thats broken are essentially 4 lumps of metal. I have posted an accident thread in the past and people always jump straight in and slate you for going too fast, being an idiot etc etc, but at the end of the day the OP was the person involved and its him who knows the truth no matter what other think, now I know slime a little bit, met him once and he certainly does not seem the type to go around speeding and being an idiot.

Nobody said he was doing either, what are you trying to do, stir up an argument or something? You don't need to be speeding or an idiot to make simple mistakes :)

So when’s the rebuild? New chassis and a few other bits and its sorted.
Landrovers don’t die that easy. :D

This is OcUK. The OcUK investigators are always around after a crash :p

Sorry to see this fella, it's a sod financially but at least you came away ok which is always the main thing :)

It doesnt really seem like he did much wrong though

What, you mean other than going round a blind bend too fast? :p

I think the van and jazz appear to be prime examples of why we are taught to use our handbrakes, and to leave a fair bit of space infront when we stop. :D

Hope you're not writing the Landy off. Hell, you didn't even break a headlamp!!

Pull the bumper straight, replace the bonnet, screw another indicator lens on and you're set.

Seriously, if that's a write off, I wonder how much shipping would be to get it over here. I know my brother would take that off your hands and have that back on the road in a week!! He's a charter member in the Pacific Northwest Land Rover Owners Association. He's got a '56 three door and his wife's got a 59 five door. Both restored from the ground up.
