Won't be using the built in speakers.

I asked previously and the general consensus seemed to be DVI, as HDMI throttles screen refresh rates to 60 (at least it did at the time - things change!)

Both DVI and DP will give pretty similar results, DVI might be a little less hassle as sometimes DP can be a bit picky about cable quality at higher resolutions/refresh rates.

Just remembered that my other monitor only has DVI and my GPU only has 1 DVI port so I'll have to use HDMI or display port cable for the LG monitor.

Got my monitor today and looks amazing! However...... it has pretty bad backlight bleed on the bottom and top left.

20% brightness:

100% brightness:

Had a skim through some "dark" film scenes i.e. gravity and it rather noticeable.

Would I be able to swap this out for a new one?

Have sorted out a RMA with ocuk so this one is getting collected tomorrow. New one probably won't arrive till Monday, will report back with pics etc.
