So this weekend i decided to build a 'rig'
I used what i already had, ie; the pole's, which are from an argos purchased 'cloth's tidy stand' (i had 2 packs)... i drilled these up so they could be attached together
I bought 2 x suction cups from SCREWFIX (not wicks sorry), £6.50 each, drilled holes through the handle and used 2 aerial brackets to secure the poles, the padding is an old mouse mat i cut up, lastly i stuck my hama monopod to the end.
My friend drew the short straw as he was the only one with a wide angle lens, so he was slightly nervious dangling his new 7D off the end, i told him its only a canon, 2 a penny lol.
Anyways, heres the kit and setup shots:
And the final shots:
Was good fun, but we came across a few problems, like the pole bending so all the shots are from a fairly low angle, im going to try and engineer a better system, for future shots.
