Another E46 thread!

hmmm that's what I was thinking. He has just dropped the price from 6100 to what it is now as well so must have had no offers on it. When I rang him he was very abrupt and told me "if you ain't bringing cash then don't even bovver coming to see it" and was also quite reluctant to answer my questions.

Shame really as it's the exact spec/colour i want

Did he sound like the sort of person who, 8 years ago, would be in the position to buy a 30k+ car or did he sound like a thick chancer?

If it was a genuine low mileage 1 owner loaded 330Ci from a good home then it would fly off at £6100 and his phone wouldnt stop ringing. The fact he's had to drop the price suggests something keeps making people walk away..

I'd still have a look. It's practially the perfect car for you and if you had found the same one at a dealer for £1k more you would have bought it by now because the dealer will have been all nice and what not.

I'd go along, have a look and asses the car and owner then, making a judgement call on a perfect car by a 3 minute phone convo is a bit silly. He might be a right berk and the car might be a shed, but if you go along ask him a few questions about the car that the original owner would know and talk to him you might find out it's a real bargin.

Worth a shot I'd say.
