Anyway, I got it working fine, no problems. The Cpu when idle seems to drop down to 30/31c, I did the blend stress test with orthos and after 4 minutes the temps on TAT went to 50.
That's fine.

Mid 70's is the max i'd hit as you don't know how hot your room temps will be, especially with Summer coming along.

Why do you think everyone is saying get an aftermarket cooler? And a 400MHz clock is almost 20% - think how many AMD CPU's anyone ever managed to overclock by 20%?
zaza said:I don't know what I am supposed to look for if it's unstable.. Does Orthos tell you? It says GO and is green, I presume it will say something else if it's not stable? Anyway, it seemed okay, no issues so far... How long should I run orthos for with just this small clock? 8 hours.. ?
Yes. 8 Hours. And you'll know what it looks like because it will say STOPPED in black on red letters and it'll beep in a most annoying way.
zaza said:what about memory, should I change timings and such, if so, where do I go?
Thanks
If you're pressing CTRL+F1 in the main screen like the instructions say the memory timings are all there to be adjusted in MIT.
I wouldn't adjust the memory timings until after I'd finished adjusting the CPU as the CPU FSB will dictate how slack the RAM timings have to be.
