another "exclusive" goes multi

In who's opinion? The general consensus was it was very good indeed.

The average online review mark was 82.5% - good but not fantastic.

It was released at a time when very few decent games were being released on the Xbox 360. I think if the game was released now, the reviews and hype surrounding it would be lower.

Personally, I think it was an OK game but nothing ground-breaking. Multiplayer was a disappoint too due to network issues.

Saints Row is a great game, and if they improve the framerate and tearing issues for the PS3 release it will be even better.

Well as it seems if a PS3 exclusive becomes multi format its big news and means the end of Sony ( the second biggest consumer electronics manufacturer in the world) .

Can we get some context, please? The reason this isn't big news is because:
1) It wasn't from the original launch title list, which then went multiplatform
2) There was quite a bit of controvousy over Sony claiming a game was an exclusive to the 360, despite the fact the developer never agreed with that and was planning a multi launch (I believe this was with Assassins Creed?)

Saints Row was awesome!!!!

I agree.

Enjoyed it much more than "i wanna be just like fidy cent" GTA:SA.

Amazing phsyics
Amazing gfx
Enjoyable missions

Apart from the odd framerate issue i'm struggling to find a reason for all the hate for this game. But then again i've come to expect it from this forum.

There is no real downside to it getting a PS3 release.

I thought it was a great game! Perhaps not brilliant, but loads of fun. It is good for non 360 owning PS3 owners, perhaps they will add a few features for the PS3 release.

The issue is GTA4 is due before Christmas, so Saints Row might have a limited appeal. Besides, 360 owners need not worry, we'll have crackdown in a month.

It's a good game, but the not the sort of game you would associate with being one of a consoles 'great' titles.

It was a solid title but sadly ruined with little glitches and bugs.

Maybe if SR was an outstanding game that was worth buying a 360 just to play then the OP would have a point.

Games don't just start to get developed when the console was released.
The PS3 is bound to have saints row not too long after its UK launch. Nothing worth getting your knickers in a twist about.

I always enjoy one of these style games a few months before the next big GTA title is released, then it just confirms how damn good rockstar are and makes you realise how nothing else compares ;)

And the last time R* released a decent gta was....?

I love Saints Row more than any of the GTA games, im pretty impressed about how well it holds up to it, it going over to the PS3 can surely only mean good things about this game.
