Law has no common sense, i read somewhere earlier that a House owner got taken to court because a Burglar fell down the stairs of a house he was burglring.

Whatever happened to a Fair Hearing and Justice, i think the Burglar won in the end, this country is falling to peices.
Surely that can't be true? If so why dont people break into each others houses, and sue because of their property being unsafe?

However if it is, its a bad time for this country :(
I think members of OcUK should run this country and laws can be passed on this forum :D

3 charged... 2 15 year olds and 1 16 years old

I guess they'll be sent to holiday camp and out before their teen years are over... house, protection and a wedge of cash to help them integrate when released :o

If guilty these scum should have the rest of their lives ruined... its got to stop

It will never stop. It's part of the human condition. In a society containing millions of people you'll always have those who are like this.

No amount of punishment will deter people like this because when they go to do this they're not in the mind-set of what could happen to them if they're caught.

The problem with forums like GD is that everyone has opinion, even those who know nothing about what they hold an opinion on.

Thats why we get constantly recycled lies about burglars suing people after falling down steps, and how young offenders institutes are actually holiday camps, and how crime is a recent thing and the fault entirely of chavs.

p

It's not their fault, they are too young to understand right from wrong

I know when i was 15 i thought it was OK to kick someone to death for no reason.

Utterly disgusting!

It's funny, I have heard so many variations of that story. *burglar suing person being burgled due to injury..*

Well something has went wrong since my schooling till today. I walk through my area and get no hassle from neds the same age as me but i do get hassle from the younger ones who want to show off to the bird. I heard some poof ask his girl "you want me to go hit him?" and had to laugh.

My mates dad jumped his back fence after a gang of neds around 15-16 years old and said he would take every single one of them on right there. They all walked away giving him abuse. The guy is ex dutch army though...so does look like a bit of a nutter.

The youth of this country all all ****ed up, seriously, whenever someone used to get done over in the past it was kicks to the stomach etc, nowadays there always kicking the head, i feel physically sick to imagine what goes through there heads when they do this :(

Language!

Where did you read this? The book of make beleive nostalgic garbage?

Stuff like this is horrible but it always makes me laugh how whenever it happens we get a thread on OcUK about how back in the day everything was lovely and things like this never happened.

Wake up and smell the coffee - people have been scum for thousands of years.
People hear really need to read this and take it to heart.

The lads at the Young Offenders Institute that I work at are allowed Playstations if they behave themselves long enough. So as well as the tv, 3 meals a day, education, gym, they just get plenty of time to plan what they are going to do when they get out or learn more tricks of the trade while they are in there. Punishment???? Bah Humbug

So whats shameful?

Who told you that? TV yes, games consoles yes, mobiles and broadband? Don't think so.

It's a very sad story though, things are just getting ridiculous now.

I have to say this business about things being worse now than ever, society being at it's most violent etc, etc. is a myth.
A quick read through any book about the social and political history of this country will show you what a complete nonsense that is.
Having said that things do seem to have degenerated somewhat over the last ten or fifteen years.
Lack of respect, the rise of gang culture, break up of the family unit probably all play their part. But I wonder how much is down to our perception is changed by fear induced by increaded media coverage of violent events.
