Hola Folks! :D

Well, Im really a beginner photographer who does not own a camera at all after just selling my Sony NC1 (I think  ) just to the lack of pictures that it could produce.

Okay, personally I've always loved to take pictures of all kinds of wildlife, from a distance and upclose and with a entry level "Standard Digital Camera" lets say I have found it very hard to shoot moving objects.

Keeping this in mind, I dont want to spend a lot of money on something that I may not use, or may not interest me forever so Im looking for a budget digital camera what is essentially entry level DSLR or something of such standard. I have done some homework and have visited sites such as dpreview and stevesdigicams but wanted some first hand advice and suggestions. (Or maybe what first camera you owned)

Thanks

That also is about the price range I was hoping for. Off to read some reviews now. I heard the "Canon IS3" is suppose to be "All that"

There's an IS5 now. My brother has an IS1 and it's pretty good.

How is it so cheap for something that seems to have many SLR comparisons?

The 6500's RRP is £300 I think, so you're getting a lot of camera at the moment, for not a lot of money.

Not sure why they're so low in price because it only came out towards the end of last year. Anyway, I have one and I'm well pleased with it.
