I don't think it was as bad as some are making out. Either that or my standards are incredibly low!*

I admit, some bits were rubbish, some bits went on more than they could have, some bits were just weird and irrelevant but it was certainly watchable. Nowhere near as good as The Expanse, Dark Matter or any of the STO jobbies but if you accept it for what it is, trash sci-fi then there's certainly a lot worse!

*I did binge watch the entire series in one go, eating over 20 packets of beef space raiders and quite a lot of lager!

I'd rather watch cbeebies than this pile of rubbish.
 
I am actually enjoying this! The first couple of episodes were a tad slow, but it definitely improved towards the middle. Now I'm ashamed to say I'm hooked! Easy watching. But why on earth does it remind me of the Fallout 4 world???

I'm with you to be honest - finished it up last night and quite enjoyed it.
Wife sat through the whole series with me, which is quite rare for anything Sci-Fi.
 
This has to be the worst cast ever assembled.

Also why is the trans gender running around the spaceship in high heels? I know they said something about not having to wear uniform for over 20 years but seriously????

Also how did that male who is second in command ever pass a mental test to go into outer space?

I'm struggling to pluck up the will power to watch esp 3 to see if it gets any better but I very much doubt that.

Ive watched 4, honestly I'm not sure how. Its just ridiculously badly written. First contact by people who dont seem to want to be there. A crew that is more interested in arguing about petty things than listening to their commanding officer.
The character writing is terrible, including awful stereotypes, like the angry Latino, the aggressive killer man (for no reason) and the hard hitting strong women. Not to mention hitting the diversity targets that's so obvious I'm surprised there isn't a quadriplegic driving the ship from a space chair.
 
I stopped after episode 1 having watched the crew get in to martial arts fights with each other, and one got kicked in to a radom ball of lightning.

Bottom of the barrel dumb this is. Who writes this **** and how do they get it green lit!? I often wonder if there's some complicated tax scam going on when garbage like this gets made.
