Another more storage needed thread!

As title folks. Bigger family, more pictures and videos!
Looking to get at least a 4TB drive, but would welcome your recommendations.
Is there a particular capacity which is the sweet spot in terms of price/GB at the moment?
Honestly speaking I dont mind paying a little extra for 6TB or 10TB.

Im quite open to all possibilities, truth be told I would prefer to just get the drive as is and just mount it in my PC.

Anyway to look out for "non-SMR" based drives?

Im not looking to get a robust and good performing drive.

Seems quite easy. Is there a big difference in price between the external version and the standard version?
Why is the external version cheaper since it has a case and additional electronics?

Also I heard there could be some problems with powering the HD (something about the 3V line?)

But noticed the Blues are 5400rpm but the Reds are 7200rpm... so could I use the Red in my PC?
Also there are bigger capacities in Red than blue?
