I've used a HP 5520 Printer/Scanner/Copier for a couple of years. From memory it didn't cost a lot and I suppose it's done OK considering.
I obviously need to replace it, but I've no idea with what. Don't really need colour, but the printing, copying, scanning side of things is essential, as is wireless connectivity
Do I just buy a cheapy, or is there anything out there that costs a bit more, but has a bit more longevity?
The current printer uses masses of ink and now it seem to no longer want to only printer in black and simply isn't reliable any more.
I remember in the mid-90s when I was a University I had an HP Laserjet 4L (I think), just a printer but it was bombproof, printing almost non-stop for all my housemates and was awesome on ink usage.
I guess we are just in a throw-away age now.
Anything to look at or just get the equivalent HP model today? Is there instant ink service any good?
