Another NFS Most Wanted is comming out

No, mostly everyone agrees it's gone downhill since NFS: Most Wanted in 2005.

As big as a cash-cow EA is, surely they realise they would sell much more copies of Need for Speed if it went back to the street racing set-up, rather than what it is now? Some of my most fun times in racing games were from the Underground / Underground 2 era, those games were phenominal, and in my opinion, walk over the games of today. Heck, sometimes me and a mate actually get out our old PS2s and have a good play of Underground 2. The graphics aren't great anymore, but it's still got great playability...

+1 Underground 2 was epic. I just miss having every part of my car being a different colour. Pink body, lime green spoiler, cyan wingmirrors... :cool:

Most wanted was amazing, loved modding the Punto and Clio

Some fast and furious gaming entertainment there. I think if Need For Speed wanted to go down the simulation path (eg NFS Shift) then they should have made that into a different racing category, but kept the like of Most Wanted, Underground etc. I miss putting Neon lights on my cars from Underground 2

Have to disagree. While admittedly it isn't as good a game as the others from a single player point of view, go online with some friends and it's a great arcade racer (along with being able to drop in the objective based/stunt stuff to break up the races).

For 360 I got all the DLC and it was really fun online with the cars from Back to the future etc

Need For speed undercover was terrible. I remember buying it, installing it, and sending it back straight away. The car handling was horrible, like driving in a shopping trolley on ice.

Is everybody forgetting Need for Speed: Carbon? That was basically NFS: Most Wanted mixed in with a little NFS: Underground. Bloody brilliant game.

The original Most Wanted is the best NFS game to date imho it had everything you could possibly want from a game, I completed it on PSP, PC and PS2 :eek:

NFS - The Run was so dire it wasn't even funny! I did the game in under 6 hours :eek:

Agreed. I couldn't get on with MW for the rubber-banding.

EA will need something really special to get me to part with my money, i've not enjoyed a NFS game since.

NFS series has been **** for years, i'm never buying them again, my favourite is Underground 2 still.
