Another non punishment for Ferguson

maybe not directly but he will be in contact with the dugout

/actually not sure that he is even banned from dressing room

First of all he's not the first manager to say stuff like that and he won't be the last.

Secondly, when has a manager ever been given that kind of ban? 5 matches and 30k?

lolFA.

it's only a 3 match ban for this offence

no he isn't the first manager and won't be the last ( though he is probably the worst offender by some way ) ,that is why they need to come up with a more effective punishment

Shouldn't have been punished at all, comments were entirely justified given Atkinson's performances in the Chelsea game this year and last year.

doesn't matter if it's justified, if he has an issue then it should be taken up privately with the FA

they ought to, it's somethign that needs sorting, it''s hard to argue that Ferguson is not amongst the worst culprits if not the worst

You know damn well you wouldn't have started this thread if it had been anyone else, your hatred for United and Ferguson clouds your judgement.

;):D:)

have I ever denied that ? you can hate Liverpool it's not a problem, it wouldn't bother me and wouldn't breach any forum rules

the reason I can't stand the bloke is because of his lack of any respect for the game and others involved

what it is not is because he is the manager of Man Utd, I detest him, Gary Neville , Rooney but have no issues with Scholes, Giggs, Van der Saar etc, my opinions on each are based on individual merits , of course I am never going to like Man Utd as a club but that's all part of being a football fan, I do not have a blanket dislike of every player/ fan

So because he told the truth he deserves to get fined/banned?

Because a week later he refused to talk to the media because of the above and he deserves a fine/ban for that as well?

The biased hatred towards United on this forum is a joke tbh, as proved by the OP

so I find that a mild slap on the wrist for the highest profile manager with a long history of contempt for authority to be weak on behalf of the FA, is this not worth of discussion ? why can people not discuss in a sensible manner ?

It's the fact you have felt the need to start a thread discussing how even though he's been punished it's not enough in your eyes.

I imagine there will be several others that get away with it several times till the end of the season, Wenger as an example always has a pop, should he be banned from the ground as well :D

of course

I think this is where it is getting confused, he only has 'history' because he's managed in the PL for 20 years!!!

It's not like he comes out every week and has a go, only when we have been shafted by a referee.

there is a process for it though, the managers complete a confidential referee report after each game

So in that case when he is asked directly about the referee's performance is he supposed to ignore them or lie through his teeth?

YOU MUST TALK TO THE MEDIA BUT LIE ABOUT OUR REFEREE'S BEING ****.

KERMIT
FA
SOHO SQUARE

the media do push managers into making controversial comments but that doesn't mean they have to answer, maybe the media should show some restraint too
